RC Landingham’s Journey
No athlete has won the 1 million dollar WCRA Triple Crown of rodeo. In December, bareback rider RC Landingham will ride for a chance at $1 million. Rodeo journalist Kendra Santos talked with RC at the ranch he calls home in California. The Triple Crown of Rodeo is an annual bonus that pays a $1 Million cash award to any one athlete or collection of athletes who win first place in any three consecutive WCRA Major Rodeos.
I Don’t Know What To Do With $1 Million
RC Landingham, a 32-year-old Bareback Rider earned his second consecutive win at July’s Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo, putting him in contention to be a millionaire. If Landingham triumphs at the Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo, he will be the first victor of the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo $1 Million Bonus.
